Obsidian version 1.9.0+ (for Bases feature), Templates core plugin enabled (it's built-in, just toggle it on), and Web Clipper browser extension if you want to import from Goodreads or StoryGraph (optional).

Yes. Drop it in and it works. No conflicts with your current setup. Works equally well in brand-new vaults or established ones.

▸ Do I need to know coding or formulas?

No. Everything is pre-built. You click buttons/keybinds and add books or take notes. The CSS styling, progress bar formulas, and Base views are done for you.

▸ How do I install this?

Download the zip file, unzip it, and drag the "Book Tracker Base" folder into your Obsidian vault. Open the main Base file and you're ready to add books.

▸ What if I don't use Goodreads, StoryGraph or Audible?

Use the manual templates (Fiction and Nonfiction). They work for any book - self-published, obscure titles, that memoir about cats that your pet-sitter wrote, anything.

▸ Can I customize the progress bars and colors?

Yes. Swap between 7 progress bar styles by changing one word in the base file. The documentation shows you exactly which line to edit.

▸ What if I break something?

You have the original zip file. Re-extract it. Or reach out - I respond to support requests, email in the Quick Start Guide.
